I don’t touch the config file at all.
Until this game receives the optimization required, I personally see it as a waste of time adjusting things in the config file to values that go beyond the in-game menu.
Especially something like LOD to a value that exceeds your actual visual range - you’re just using up system resources unnecessarily.
