Isn Xbox Game Pass Needed?

Hi Guys, I only play MSFS2020 on my PC. I do NOT have an Xbox. Do I need Xbox Game Pass if only playing on my PC???Also with MSFS 2024 will Game Pass be needed to play on a PC only??
I always get confused when Xbox is mentioned regarding MSFS…

I can confirm you do not need Xbox Game Pass to play FS2020 on PC.

I stopped my XGP about two months ago as I was rarely using my Xbox. I’m still able to play FS2020 on PC with multiplayer.

Xbox do a pc game pass. I’ll be doing that for a month to try 2024 out before I buy it.
