Is anyone having issues activating the stopwatch? I get over the runway and fly to the way point at the golf course but I am unable to compete the stopwatch requiremebt as when I click the button nothing happens. So I doesn’t seem to register when I have flown over the golf course and my objectives list doesn’t change. Any help would ne appreciated.
I gave it a try and didn’t have an issue. But there are some quirks, depending on which timer you’re starting.
If you’re using the timer/stopwatch on the PFD press the timer softkey (blue up arrow) and timer box (the longer red down arrow) will appear. Make sure you use the large FMS rotary switch (red square) to move the active box over to “start” (smaller red down arrow), and then hit “ent” button (red left-pointing arrow) to start the timer. It should work fine.
If you’re using the EFB timer, the advantage is you can use a mouse pointer to click directly on the “start” button. The only issue I’ve seen is that the EFB timer won’t start or run if the sim has been paused/active paused. Otherwise, it should also work fine.
Let me know if you still have issues, or want further clarification.

@ninjarider123 : are you under msfs-2020 or msfs-2024 ?
Hi, I am using 2024
Apologies, first time in the community. I have tried the “blue button” in the log by going into cursor mode and trying ick on the button. It indicated I was hovering over but wouldn’t “click” i will try to use the switches you indicated within the cockpit. Thanks you!
Hi Ninjarider,
Please review this post I create Stopwatch key binding (keyboard, joystick, FSUIP,...)
There is plenty of no sense regarding stopwatch.)
For the XBOX and FS 2024, press the RB and LS to change to cursor mode. Then you can use your controller like a mouse to click on the buttons on the Navigation log.
