I have done numerous flights VOR to VOR using the Bendix and the GNXi in the Dc-6 and the Milviz Porter among others. So if you cannot tune a VOR in your aircraft and fly radials in MSFS the problem is user-side not sim-side I am afraid.
that a payware is better than a default aircraft is not exactly a surprise , is it ? I don’t do Carenado but I’d say that the MSFS default are a couple of notches superior to any sim I have had before.
At the end of the day, its all about enjoying simming. If you prefer FSX to MSFS, all the power to you
