After 9 minutes of waiting for the Helicopter lesson to start, I see this:
So what are you trying to tell us?
That this is the quality of this game we shall expect from now on when your servers are 99.999% available? Really??
I understand that launching such a complex game might go along with some problems. No big issue, just be honest and transparent about it.
What makes me angry is the (non-)communication of Microsoft / Asobo that makes me (and I guess others too) feel not been taken serious.
I’m located in Germany (I read about problems in Europe that might not appear elsewhere) and have my XBOX X connected via LAN cable so it has a 73mb/s stable internet connection.
I tried restarting the sim several times, with no betterment.
Is this still (my?) ‘bandwidth too low’?
Are you suggesting I shall upgrade to 150mb/s to just wait 4.5 minutes and maybe have a rotor or fuselage?
Sorry for the sarcasm.
In case your wondering: yes, I am really frustrated.

you don’t have to upgrade your connection. I’m from France and sim takes 9 minutes to launch. i think it’s a band of liars. But you have paid and refund is impossible so you wait (like me)
Yeah … totally resolved …
I made this screenshot 2 minutes ago at 6:45 pm.
And this one just seconds ago at 6:47pm …
This is not loading the flight, mind you, just zooming in on a possible starting location. It took almost a minute before the “Start Flight” Button became even available instead of being greyed out, and the map detail hasn’t resolved yet.
I just clicked Start Flight at 6:50 pm. … and now its 6:52pm Look! Some more map details came in, only 7 minutes after zooming into the location. Still loading …
It’s 6:55pm now … still loading … but with a slight difference on screen …
Hey look! It’s 6:56pm, 6 minutes after clicking “Start Flight” I’m “Ready to Fly” … well …
2 Minutes later … 6:58 …
I’ll end it here … you get the picture. Nothing is resolved! And just a reminder … had I used a VPN right now, I would have been flying 10 minutes ago with perfect graphics.
P.S:: I never used any map mods and my hosts file is clean.

It’s now the 4th day for me where I can barely play one mission. It starts up rather quickly for me but the map, scenerie and aircraft just won’t load. I tested everything I can. My internet is fine. I followed their Zendesk advice. It’s incredibly frustrating because for me everything was fine until Sunday

Tonightwas the first time i had a lot of ‘online connection’ issues.
But how i see it now playing it daily for like a week is that everytime i load the sim, its different. Different in behavoir, controls, power/fps/looks… it;s not the most stable thing i ever played
Today I made a free flight with the Boeing 787-10 from LEMD decks to LEBL Barcelona and I have mixed feelings when filming the textures flicker the planes lose their turbines but some take off and it is spectacular to see them on the horizon the takeoff and the elevation you lose There are no buildings in Madrid, it’s sad, but it’s more stable, this sim needs a lot of updating and local download packages. When we arrived in Barcelona, we saw the Losnhotels on the beach at La Sagrada Familia a little better, but it was It pixelates and the atmosphere is lost. They need to let us download world maps to the hard drives. They should download 200GB and I think it would be solved. It promises, but it is broken.
Update:
This morning I tried again and everything went smoothley.
Reletively short loading times, graphic details are amazing.
At first, the Heli had no sounds, but I remembered that deleting the local temp-data from the XBOX did the job with other planes.
After restarting the sim (quite fast) I could enjoy some Heli flying even with sounds.
Controlling the Guimbal (after tweaking some controls on the Velocity One Flightstick) seems easier than in FS2020.
If only it would be always like this!
At least I get an impression, how good this game can be.
Let’s me be hopeful for the future.
Curious, what the evening will be like, when more European are back home and try to play the game.
