What is a good MSFS 2024 scenery option for Istanbul Airport LTFM and any separate scenery for Istanbul city that would be compatible with a separate LTFM airport scenery? Are there any Marketplace options worth it? msfs-2024
I cannot comment on LTFM options. But the most comprehensive Istanbul scenery about which I am aware is Istanbul Cityscape by AC Scenery. It is available via MSFS 2024 Marketplace …as well as from AC Scenery itself and simMarket.
@bijanstudio is developing some Istanbul scenery. It is early days and he only has a few POIs just now. But he does great work. So I would keep an eye on his site: FREE | Bijan Studio
The AC Scenery’s Istanbul Cityscape is huge improvement over the default scenery. But it appears to be an early MSFS 2020 product with some minor updates for MSFS 2024.
Having spent nearly a month exploring Istanbul on foot, it is bit of a let down. Then again, the former Roma Constantinopolitana is huge and filled with so many grand historical buildings and little side street gems that it would be difficult to do it justice.
If we are lucky, one day some developer may adapt scenery like that of Byzantium 1200 (https://www.byzantium1200.com) to create an MSFS 2024 addon.
