Well I had a great Flight Simulator for about a week then I woke up yesterday morning I can’t get into any flights. Just kicks me back to the Desktop when I try to start a flight. Didn’t change any settings in my hardware or in the FS Settings. Didn’t add any peripherals. Tried setting everything to Default in the Settings and Set my AMD card to Default setting (No Overclocking). Is there any logging or troubleshooting I can turn on?

Something to do with your Microsoft account in game, con Xbox live, and in me store app.
You always delete or reset account under settings/accounts
Then resign into ms store and Xbox love, then load game…
Sometimes a quick fix works… right click on your microsoft flight simulator app…select app settings… then click on the repair box. Reboot PC.
Make sure ya not taking off in Iceland (Y)
Have you tried restarting your computer? It’s amazing how often that will fix a problem.
Also make sure internet working
Thanks for all your suggestions. I’ll try them all. I have restarted many times and my internet is working.
To me it seems like a hardware issue.. I get all the way up to when the mission’s about to start and then it throws me out.
Well I have Application Errors from both the FLight SImulator and My Radeon RX 590. I’m doing a full reinstall.

Hello,
if I could share my step as init for start FS, I start first XBox. If I have connection ok, close it and start FS. Simply if XBox can’t connect to your account, you can also see problem on start of FS in screen with Press key to Start. This working for me.
Thank you. Not sure I have the same issue because it is crashing when the flight loads not at Press key to Start but I will try your suggestion.
Hopefully tomorrows path fixes it for you
Thanks. I’ll check it out
Are you running the 20.8.2 AMD drivers? I’m running a RX 580 and the last few drivers from AMD have had a lot of problems for me. Games crashing, BSODs, and more. Try rolling back to the 20.4.2 Windows Certified drivers, they have been much more stable for me.
Make sure to use AMD’s driver cleanup utility.

Congratulations on being able to download it!
Thanks. I did and then ran my installer from a couple weeks ago. It recommended 20.4.2 so it looks like 20.8.2 is a beta.
I get the same thing. After clicking “fly” when the map is loading, as the blue loading line is almost at the end the music stops and the game closes to desktop.
It seems to happen at a certain airport for me I think. I tried to do the same flight about 3 times in a row and the same crash. When I chose a different airport to depart from it finally loaded.
Unfortunately the driver rollback did nothing. Still getting the Windows and Radeon Application Error dumps. Hopefully the patch coming soon will fix this. Just don’t get how it was running fine for a week and then even after a reinstall and driver rollback it’s completely broken.
