FWIW, I have requested refunds from zen desk (products that were removed from marketplace) without knowing the exact ‘item/order’ number. The folks at MS know what we have purchased and in their system I’m sure it’s quite easy to differentiate the purchases/order numbers. Ive had no issues getting refunds even when I didn’t know when I purchased an item. There is some responsibility of the consumer to know what they are purchasing, and keep record of that. From my understanding MS uses this system this way because they are converting currency rates. You have to purchase ‘credits’ so our currency is the same. Should they at least put the product number or description on the reciept? Of course.
