It's still the 31st in half the world, but the sale ended?

Waited too long to pull the trigger on a purchase, my fault. But I really thought sales went through to the end of the day in the US. Did it end unusually early?

Usually Marketplace sales start at 8 am Pacific Time on the first day and end at 8 am Pacific Time on the last day stated.

Maybe include times in next sale advert, save the confusion

I purchased something discounted in the sale at 1751. I noticed at 1826 that the sale had ended. Must have been 1800 UK time so worth bearing in mind.

At last a small purchasing benefit for those of us living down under. We get shafted on pretty much everything else so this is a tiny win.

Surely simpler to use UTC Microsoft? That way everyone’s on a level playing field.

You want me to figure out UTC offset? I have a hard enough time with Daylight Savings Time changes.

Never mind, you’ve still got the Ashes :worried:

Nope. Ex Pat.

Although, it comes at the cost of your first day of sale starting late at night.

If you are using/playing with a Flight Simulator that cover the entire world, , one of the 1st things you might consider learning is UTC .

or to find out what time it is in Pacific Time (where Microsoft headquarters are in the USA

Yes, but it frames it into whole days which is much better I think. At least you know it finishes at the end of the stated day. Which for me is the most important thing.

If only the whole world used UTC, now that we live in a truly global economy…
