the last update for the Flying Iron Spitfire IX messed up my repaints for the clipped wing version. I have uploaded updates for them that should work better.

The update to Spitfire HL-A - the 31st Fighter Group hack - resolves the problem that kept the full exterior model from displaying. Many thanks for that. Unfortunately, it now displays as an elliptical wing model, not a clipped wing. Happy to try to resolve it on my own - but any suggestions on what files to edit? Am still finding my way with MSFS file structure. Thanks in advance - and thanks as always for all your great work.
that’s funny, in my sim it showed with clipped wings. I’ll have a look tonight.
Thanks for checking. Sounds like it’s something particular to my setup. Since that’s the case, feel free to reply via PM - I don’t want to tie up your thread with my troubleshooting if it isn’t a widespread issue.
It definitely looks like a clipped wing version on my end:

but check your pm’s.
anybody else have the same problem?
Definitely not what I’m seeing - but thanks for the complete set of files via PM. I’ll compare and report back in that channel.

Wonderful. The Hunter is really a fascinating plane. British Hunters were involved in the conflict between Malaysia and Indonesia in the 1960s and right now I’m reading a small book on the Jordanian and Iraqi Hunters involved in several conflicts.
