Definitely could use a United livery too! United didn’t fly the 707, but did operate 720’s which were just a slightly shorter version of the 707 by approximately eight feet.
That would be interesting and reasonably authentic. Hope all this gets Jankees’ attention. Cheers!
Jankees, if you are so inclined, how about some liveries for the HE111 bomber in MSFS 2024? The aircraft is incredibly detailed and flying it is a challenge, which makes it better. I know the Germans flew this plane all through the war. There must be multiple livery options for it. Thanks for the consideration.
Don’t my 2020 paints work for it?
I tried 2 of the 2020 liveries without success. I’ll try the livery converter app. It worked for some of the DC-3 liveries.
Really not much to add other than to say your work is gorgeous. Very inspiring, great camera angles too. I wonder how easy it is to find reference for some of these aircraft, especially if only black and white photos exist? Also if it’s not a secret, how do you find the exact graphics placement when you work from pictures?
Thank you!
Yes, that is my experience also
“carefully”, and verify from bunch of angles also.
You are turning repaint and it’s presentation into art form. I am learning from you on that front.
Can we use the linker for them?
If you mean the Addons Linker, then yes - liveries work the same way as any other file.
What I’ve done is to set up subfolders inside the Addons Linker main folder, including a separate one for liveries. Not required but makes them easy to find and manage.
You could easily set up a folder for just Jankees’ paints - useful if you’ve got as many of them as I have.
Hope this helps.
It was just the way he exclusively sait, ‘community folder’, that made me asked. Otherwise, I’ve used the Linker almost exclusively since six years ago… Cheers!
Agree about the Linker. But as long as you’ve got the symbolic link in Community, you’re good.
