Don’t know if this has been posted already. This ol’ man did look but just couldn’t find anything. Is there anyway to turn off the " Japan updates have landed" sequence when booting. Just bothersome to me.

Yeah, it is annoying isn’t it. It is like advertising, I have video production software that does that but they are worse, they are trying to up-sell me.
I’m pretty sure there is no official way. Maybe the images can be hacked to show something else but it doesn’t bother me enough to see how.
