Hello,
I would like to request an option to switch the Garmin G3X PFD in the JMB aircraft from the current tape-style engine instruments to traditional circular (round) gauges.
Many real G3X installations allow pilots to choose between different layouts, including classic round gauges. This option would improve both realism and usability.
The tape PFD presentation requires more eye movement to monitor flight parameters, while round gauges allow the pilot to recognize trends and abnormal values much more quickly with a quick glance. This is one of the reasons why many pilots prefer the circular layout.
It would be ideal if this could be implemented as a selectable cockpit option, allowing users to choose between:
Tape-style flight instruments (current layout)
Traditional circular (round) gauges
This would make the JMB cockpit more flexible and better suited to different pilot preferences without changing the existing default layout.
Many ultralight and LSA pilots transitioning to or from real aircraft train in MSFS. Providing the option to use round gauges would improve training value and better reflect real-world G3X configurations.
Thank you for considering this request.
