ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
While flying the Joby, get aircraft system malfunction (engine) messages now and then, when I don’t seem to be doing anything wrong.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Joby

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
intermittently, but every flight if you fly long enough

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. start flight with Joby
  2. Tool around a city for 10-20 minutes, land and take off a few places
  3. you’ll see half a dozen of these messages. Sometimes when the throttle is at an extreme.
  4. Even if I’m technically doing something wrong, “engine malfunction” seems off

I have had the same problem flying around for 30 Min…

Am having the same problem. Usually adjusting the throttles sees the message disappear. Usually returns later.

Tool around a city? what on earth does that mean?

I get them in several aircraft. Is there something we can look at to get more detals?

Me too in the PC version, but I don’t get the messages at all in the Xbox Cloud version.

Same and with SU1. Got an engine failure while on the ground with the Vision Jet 4 times, every ~30 seconds. Hit my repair key bind but kept coming back. The last two time including this one I seem to remember icing conditions, low vis, and always on the ground.

• Flew a 40-minute flight in SU1 build v1.2.23.0 from Dubrovnik to Mostar including cruise & hover sections and never saw any error messages displayed.

This is a Joby S4 thread.

I haven’t seen the engine malfunction message on the Joby for some time. However the instruments still fail after about half an hour of flight. The instruments fail very consistently usually just when you are thinking about landing to recharge. Not sure if these problems are linked.

I think the next build will address these bugs, but MS is in charge of pushing it out.

That’s great. The instrument failure wasn’t fixed in update 3 beta, last time I flew the Joby.
