Buying from the marketplace is already a choice that requires some thought if, of course, you have the option to buy elsewhere at all.
But buying from Aerosoft is a whole other level of recklessness.
today the big summer holiday vacations started in france, they will last until the beginning of september
i guess we wont see a SU3 release until september then?
for me the sim is still unplayable (mouse is unusable)
i wait since the release back in november 2024 to finally play the sim âŠ
The target date for SU3 final release is July 7th. It might be delayed a bit but I seriously doubt it will be delayed until September.
Where do they say this?
Usually they give us a brief update within the development update blog posts when to expect an upcoming release.
7th july would be in just a few days and they said nothing at all in the most recent dev update ..
The said it in the last Dev Stream.
Actually SU3 Final has a target date of July 8th. Following is the time stamp of the last Dev Stream when it was announced:
Hi folks,
Reminder that any tentative release dates shared by Jorg in the last Developer Livestream are targets, not promises. They may or may not change based on feedback from those enrolled in the beta and the automated telemetry data we receive.
Thanks,
MSFS Team
Maybe Aerosoft should consider renaming their company MScenery, then their products would get into the marketplace instantly.
Their a330 just needs a bit more roughing up and itâll fit right in
So do you know what is target date for more planes in career mode ? Especially inibuilds airbus family and heavy cargo, exotic remote ops etc ?
3, 4 month ago during SU2 beta Jorg said it will comes before releasing SU2, it was on FINAL TEST (thatâs his words), he said the same for SU3 during livestream 2 or 3 weeks ago and no news since
Whatâs blocking ?
Is Inibuild A330 have some issue is the blocker for Heavy Certification, because A310/A400M/747-8 and 787 is already approved with career mode.
I was wondering the same thing.
Perhaps the moderators can tell us if there is any hope of a dev stream soon?
I wonder whatâs exactly the validation process. Iâm amazed to see so many CaptainSim/FSX360 products, which are really buggy, making it so quickly into the marketplace. Their 717 not only reuses the 320 FMS, It also had bugs following a flight plan and fails at VNAV. It even has some obviously badly simulated features, like opening the cockpit windows at FL300 with no issues. So, if that makes it into the marketplace so easily, whatâs exactly the validation process? Because so far it isnât guaranteeing quality products at all.
Yes approved but not implemented even in betaâŠ
I donât think itâd be even possible to test a plane add-onâs systems at that level of depth before MP. Youâd need many human testers taking a lot of time to try it out, feature by feature. With a lot of folks already pitching a huge fit over how slow the process already is, seems like a recipe for disaster.
As to why the bad developers show up faster on MP, my theory is that they do it by concentrating all their energy into just that. Quality? Nah, that takes time, effortâŠ
Hi @rp198419
Usually, the date of the next dev stream is announced in the Development Update Blog preceding that date, and the volunteer moderators see this announcement at the same time as everyone else.
You might want to set the notification on Official Microsoft Flight Simulator > News & Announcements to âWatchingâ or âWatching First Postâ so that you get notification whenever a new announcement is made:
I think they donât test functionality of the addons in any way. They test if addons could be a security risc or any other risc to the integrity of the Xbox.
Correct - see this post:
@DoutorFunga @kaha300d Sorry, my fault, perhaps the question was too rhetorical. I know MSFS doesnât test functionality (actually I donât even remember functionality testing in 2020, perhaps it happened and I didnât know).
What I meant with mye xampke is that the MP is plagued by useless products while quality addons are very few and for some strange reasons they simply donât make it into it or take ages to update. The example was just a demonstration of how bad things are working.
I donât feel the methodology used is actually useful. Addons are tested for compatibility, but you can end up with something like an airliner that canât follow a flight plan. Is it compatible? Well yes, so far as it doesnât make the sim crash or interferes with other addons. Functionality wise, its a paperweight and itâs wasted hard earned money.
If compatibility is all thatâs going to be tested, it should be much more straighforward and faster, in my humble opinion.
The A330 is need to enable Heavy Certification, is for now is still not appproved for Career Mode
