Recently I have found that the image in my Reverb G2 jumps around erratically. So much so that I have to reset it back to a central position.
What light conditions are you using it in? I found my G2 started to do that if it got dark while I was flying (got dark in the real world
). G2 seems to like working in a fairly well (and evenly) lit environment.
Thanks, yes, I have been using it in relatively gloomy surroundings. But, that’s often been the case and it didn’t happen before.
I’ve had a similar problem, where it will keep jumping slightly, which doesnt sound as severe as what you are experiencing. Clearing environment data solved it for me.
From Windows start menu go to settings, mixed reality, and Environment. This will clear your boundaries if you have them set up, so you’ll need to do that again.
This may sound insignificant, but make sure your camera lenses on the headset aren’t smudged or otherwise obstructed. Clean them with a cloth.
Thanks, that’s worth checking
I had similar in the past and I can confirm that increasing the lighting in the room fixed it for me. The headtracking is known to be one of the worst aspects of the G2.
