I’ll interject my opinion: devs should be forced to pay some amount to host content on the marketplace, and this amount should drop to zero if a certain number of ratings is achieved or if a certain sale threshold is achieved. This would disincentivize shovelware.
Not a bad idea, but the main con is that there are some that got terrible ratings because people download and rated after an MSFS change that caused if not to work.
Aerosoft’s Simple traffic worked and was rated fine on PC. It sits at 2.7/5 now because of the horrendous XBox release.
Not saying it would happen frequently, but it’s always a risk, especially with the console marketplace users who run into more frequent CTDs that are usually caused by something other than the payware.
Hi, these weekly blogs are nice but I would like to read more in-depth blogs about different areas of the simulation. The Q&As are OK but I find they are more geared towards marketing, other developers release very detailed blogs about their products and it would be good to read the same for MSFS.
Still there is no plan to fix the bad multi monitor and ultra wide monitor support off MSFS by Asobo.
It’s not on the list, so it seams to have no priority.
I noticed the snapshot says the World Hub is effective as of SU 12, but the web version now says World Update 14. That’s scheduled for July 11th tentatively as of the last Dev Q&A.
Slightly disappointing that this tool, as limited as it already is, has been continually pushed back for release.
Could you code the game properly so that it doesn’t need to reinstall after every update, causing more time waiting for downloads than flying?
I’m not alone as looking online there are so many people with the same issue and almost every review on the windows and xbox store is the exact same problem.
I’ve now got to wait a number of days more to play this game once again, also wearing out my nvme even more because you guys cannot code.
I’ve got around 600 games in my library, 200 launched in the last two years and I’ve never, ever seen one as bad as this.
Lets try and keep things in perspective. There have been over 10 million copies sold of MSFS. Could you give an estimate on how many pilots may have this issue?
