This might be a daft question but do we uninstall the old version first, or can we install over the old version?

Do you mean the download link for the 2024 installer within your Just Flight account > orders section? That’s working fine here.

I have flown the RJ a lot over the last few days - absolutely lovely !
Today, I tried the holding pattern functionality of the FMS. In the initial trial, I did successfully enter the hold into the FMS and it was shown on the navigation display. The WP was also marked as “hold at”, however during flight it did pass over it without entering. On a second try I did add a discontinuity after the holding point (mentioned in the manual) and this time it entered it, however I never got back to original LNAV mode - not with “exit hold” or with a direct to on a later waypoint.
Probably must be doing something wrong - is there a step by step tutorial description or a link to video for the holding pattern functionality of the RJ, somebody could provide ? Somehow, the manual is not clear enough to me in this case.
Hey there! anybody know how to get weather to appear on the ND? The little dimmer panel is supposed to let me turn it on according to the manual but I can’t get it to work. I don’t know how to enable/disable “compact mode”. It mentions “click stops” I’m not sure what those are. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
P.S I don’t mean the actual weather radar in the middle, I mean getting it’s info to show on my ND.
