Just Flight Fokker 70/100

Hi all

I’m sorry if my issue was already reported - I could not read all 620 messages…

Anyway - I just had a case where the F100 would suddenly lower the landing gear in the middle of the climb (at 32K out of 34K). Any ideas? I was afk as all good simmers are once the tube is well on it’s way lol…

Thanks for any ideas!

Have you checked all your control bindings? Also for controllers that you don’t think are using.

Will do so - but just to say: when the plane lowers the gear I am afk…

I found that my GSX key is also used for toggle landing gear- have cleared this up - will report back when tested (might take some days - afk).

thanks again!

Actually just purchased my first JF airliner, the 146 Professional. Like it so well that I may add a Fokker! If you could only have one, which would it be 28/70/100? And I also own the Maddog MD-82 so would a Fokker be too redundant in terms of similarity?

The F28 if you like old school and manual throttle, the UNS1 gives you a FMC too.

I have both F100 and F70 but have mostly flown the F100, the F70 is quite short, but otherwise identical to F100 avionics wise.

The F100 is similar to the MD80/2/3/8 which I also have, but it’s different enough to be interesting. I find the F100 super easy to set up and fly though, whereas the maddog takes a bit longer. The maddog has ACARS & CPDLC and has different engines between variants which the Fokker currently doesn’t.

I like them both though.

All of them are top top league but if I should choose then it would be F70. Easier to operate than F28 (though I love demanding aircraft) and more agile than F100. You can’t go wrong with anything from these guys. Maddog is also the same league and as @BragRaindrop933 I find it more difficult to master than F70/F100. It’s just a typical McDonnie with lots of fun and quirks.

If this is not expected/normal AT behavior on this aircraft, then I would expect JF to further tune the internal PID code.

An update has already been released since this post was made. I havent been able to test it yet, but it aimed to improve the autopilot behaviour (and other fixes).

Ohm, they already have, that was a bit of an older post.

@NORTMAR how is the testing for 2020 going ? :eyes:

It’s going well so far. We’re aiming for an August release for PC (2020 and 2024).

And how is Xbox testing coming along for 2020 and 2024 ?

Just wondering, have people been able to use PROF mode in the F100 since the last update? I can’t, it won’t engage…I’ve seen other posts about the issue on the JF forums. I submitted a support ticket with my logs and it was confirmed as a reproducible issue, so i haven’t been flying this great aircraft lately. I’m wondering though if others are flying it without this issue, and if so I’d be interested in figuring out what the difference is to hopefully get me back in the air while waiting for an official fix.

Thanks!

Same for me. I’ve not opened a ticket but good news on your response from JF. Thanks for the info and I’ll see you in the F100 skies after the next update LoL.
