I appreciate the response. I think a hosted gallery that users could select from would be less dangerous to the user than imposing another piece of software that talks to the world would be, but I’m no software engineer.
If you are solely worried about “a peice of software that talks to the world…”
If i were you…
Id get rid of that phone asap for starters… unless you are .1 percentage of people in the western world that doesn’t have a smart phone…
Think about all of those phone apps that are probably hacking into your mouth peice right now and just listening to your every day conversations.
But owning a computer that is connected to the internet let alone owning msfs2024…good luck with any private and confidential data stored on your system
I get some stutters and a low resources warning when starting up at detailed airports. Is that just me?
I don’t know how much VRAM do you have but try to lower your texture resolution. I don’t say that’s your case but some people have unrealistical expectations when running the sim at addon airports on High/Ultra texture resolution with VRAM lower than let’s say 12GB…
Thank you, I had everything on ultra haha!
Yeah, I have RTX5080 with 16GB VRAM and High texture resolution (on 2.5K screen resolution) is a fine spot for me. I would go for Ultra with 24GB VRAM or more. I haven’t seen the low resource warning for a long time now.
Any landing tips? When I flair I tend to balloon upwards and when I pull back in throttle I start to drop like a rock
@NORTMAR any news on the 2020 Xbox release ? ![]()
The 2020 and 2024 Xbox versions are currently being tested (primarily for performance) ahead of being approved for release, so hopefully it won’t be too much longer now.

Hi,
You might want to try this:
Keep the power on until 10 feet.
Look towards the far end of the runway and keep looking at the distance until after touchdown.
At 10 feet flare very gently and raise the nose only a few degrees. Simultaneously reduce the power to idle.
Ideally you should touch down when the throttles reach the idle position.
And as always: Practice, practice, practice. ![]()
Hope this helps.
Is it just me, or is the autopilot still a bit struggling in these aircraft. Target speed is often under/overshot. Response is way too slow to deviations. What do you experience?
See screenshot:
It takes ages for the aircraft to correct this.
And another one on the glide, speed getting critically low:
That is exellent to hear ![]()
Since update 1.3, my GSX no longer recognizes the Fokker 70/100 profiles. Is there any way to fix this, since I haven’t found any third-party profiles?
Edit: Nevermind. I just found out they forgot to include the GSX profiles in the update, but they’ve fixed it now. You just need to download the latest installer and reinstall.
Not that much. Yes it has more drag and needs more time to react because of the older system.
Just in one scenario the ATS is just too slow: Landing/approach with strong wind and gusts.
But the solution is very easy: Turn off ATS and hands on throttle.
I’m pretty sure it isn’t a bug. It is like the machine was designed.
P.s: it is a very good and fun plane to fly. Even without AP. Just a dream to operate with
@NORTMAR how is testing for Xbox going ? Are we getting close to release ![]()
