Just Flight FS Traffic for XBOX users

good news but xbx x series has hit the limit of power .

don’t think that you will be able to run this traffic with pmdg and third party addons .

now , xbox isn’t able to face complex addons with live ai traffic and complex aircraft .

so that said , i am not so optimistic as you seem to be .

do not expect too much unfortunatly .

I am not challenging your thinking (maybe you are absolutely right!), but dont you think that they knew that prior to making announcements and or going public with this?? I mean this might be a “lighter” version if not the standard… don’t know at this point… I mean it’s crazy to think you can run pmdg product on an Xbox but not a traffic addon .

i hope it will !!!

i am on beta , this last update has improved visual but processor is more loaded . stutters have came back at some addons scenery where it didn’t happen before

Is it too much to ask for a simple AI traffic on Xbox?

The sim is collapsing in many fronts on Xbox. From veryyy low LOD when you pass 12000ft to obsolete ATC and AI traffic. And Asobo seems to be doing nothing about them.

A decent AI traffic addon could improve it considerably. At least, when we land, we would not see generic aircraft roaming around the airport.

Asobo is ignoring Xbox users and this is not acceptable. I wish they wouldn’t release this for XBOX. At least then we could focus on saving money to buy a PC.

I feel you mate… It might sound rediculous to some but I switched to Xbox just for the sake of flying as my rig ( and of course my financials) couldnt handle msfs 2020… the minute I saw the default traffic it was already too late… it feels like Asobo and Microsoft are playing with words…

Hello fellow flyers! Tried to find any news on the subject but found none. Let me know if anyone has any kind of news for this. Happy flying!

Only info I could find that sort of confirms it’s still happening at some point is FS Traffic on XBOX ? | Just Flight Community

Thanks all for your answers. As far as I understand we will not be getting a proper update from Just Flight as they probably think we don’t deserve one… Regardless of how difficult or easy it is to implement it for Xbox or even if it happens or not, we still deserve to have a proper update from them… As far as I am concerned they would have answered if a development company or another more “important/influencial customer” asked them the same thing… they must think we are peasants or something…

I very much doubt they consider Xbox users to be “peasants.” Realistically, I think they could be looking at implementation on Xbox, FS Traffic after all is a program. Doubtful it’ll be 1:1 with PC, but something that could run with the offline AI traffic and replace the default models?

The Marketplace version of FS Traffic for both PC and Xbox is still in progress and was submitted to Microsoft at the back end of the summer. Once we submit a product to Microsoft, the marketplace team has to process the product, before then making it available to us for testing, and therefore, the timeline for release is largely out of our control.

We appreciate the frustration, and we feel it ourselves too, but unfortunately, we are unable to give a realistic estimate for when it will be released on the PC and Xbox in-game marketplaces.

Once we have an update to share with you, we will be sure to share it. But as it stands, the only update we can share is that it is still in the marketplace intake process.

Thanks for the update Mark.
I really appreciate you for jumping in and providing some info on this matter. It’s now clear for all of us that not only you have been working on this but it’s also evolved further than expected (which for me it’s good news!).
I understand your position on this situation and I also understand that you do have interest in making this product available to us Xbox users. My frustration though is both with the absence of any proper update -especially considering how many months have passed since the video hint you gave us- as well as the daily “reality” we are facing when flying side by side with polygons…
I really hope you understand our frustration here and also to provide us with future updated for the stages of this project!
We are all waiting eagerly!
Kind regards,
Alexander

In all honesty, what good is an update if there’s nothing to tell us? As soon as they know, I’m sure we’ll know. JF are a reputable dev and I’d rather they plough time into getting the product right instead of issuing regular, inconcise updates.

But they do give us Xbox flyers a glimmer of HOPE, don’t you think.

Exactly… Else most youtubers would have been out of job… Remember back when Microsoft gave us the first glimpse of Flight Simulator 2024? Imagine if you haven’t got an update since then…

According to information from Microsoft, FS2024 is said to have worldwide traffic with aircraft and ships and also with real paintwork. Then why an addon?

As a tester for a 3rd party developer i know for a FACT it would surely be back to justflight for testing if it was submitted the back end of the summer…

I feel us all being led on a merry dance :grimacing:

Is there any update on this??

It was indeed submitted to the marketplace for PC and Xbox at the back end of the summer, and as of today, it is still in processing with Microsoft.

All that we have been told is that there is a problem with FS Traffic on Microsoft’s end when they attempted to upload it to the marketplace. They have told us that this has been under investigation since November. Until we receive a reply from Microsoft that they have fixed the problem, there aren’t any further updates we can provide.

It is as frustrating for us as I’m sure it is for users who are waiting for FS Traffic on the marketplace, but unfortunately, it’s entirely out of our control at the moment.
