I would like to ask a question: I think it’s possible to set the time of day not only from the initial MSFS menu (the so-called “globe”), but also as soon as you enter “in game”, from the “time-weather” menu in the simulator. I believe that, to work in this way, you must first impose a RESET TRAFFIC and, after setting the time You like, REGENERATE TRAFFIC.
The important thing is to do it before starting to move from the parking/gate.
Is FST able to utilize other packages like FSLTL/AIG? If so everything missing in FST can be supplemented that way, I know mixing packages can get heavy but some is better than none. I have over 3250 liveries installed with a mix of packages giving me about 95-99 coverage in the US where I fly.
Fair but on the other hand there are some pretty crucial airlines/liveries that are missing or you have been waiting months for what has been available for MSFS since almost after it’s launch. Example being last batch just adding the 737-800 model and some SWA. The batch earlier this year just including Qatar and the 787 or something like that. Depending on where your main country is for flying, with an AI package, there shouldn’t be certain airlines missing from an initial launch of an AI package IMO. I can appreciate quality and saving some FPS but having those missing is a bit “odd” considering all of the material is out there to make them and has been for a long time. Adding as they go along is fine but it should be rounding out obscure carriers.
Follow the steps in this tutorial. I use a custom livery package in this example but you can use any default or third party aircraft title from the Aircraft.cfg.
Sorry…but that’s way too complicated. You really need to allow FSLTL to be added by default with a ‘tick box,’ like they do for your traffic on their traffic manager. As in the video, you ask “why would you want to do that?” Well for one, they have 747’s and cargo planes. It’s a bit annoying sitting in Hong Kong and seeing the cargo apron completely empty. I like using your traffic manager because it’s far less impactful on performance than FSLTL’s.
I’m not seeing traffic injected at EBBR. I disabled ground clutter in GSX. I disabled all the ground services in the FS traffic module. I set all sliders in the MSFS traffic menu to 0 except for the ‘airport vehicle density’ slider that i set to 1. I uninstalled the 3rd party EBBR scenery. I uninstalled LatinVFR Arex Global, all to no avail. The traffic does inject into any other major 3rd party airport like inibuilds EGLL or simwings EDDM. Any suggestions?
Do you have navigraph airac installed? If so, that was the problem I had with traffic at EBBR.
But with FST 1.0.6 this problem got solved (at least for me!).
So update to FST 1.0.6 or deactivated navigraph airac.
Hi guys
I had Aerosoft ST and now this one. Both add-ons provide planes at the gates. I see almost no planes taxiing or enroute. Which setting should I use? What is wrong? And why is this program 30gb LOL?
