There’s also Australian, Canadian, and Saudi variants currently used that either have the livery already or can be obtained at flightsim.to, plus others that I haven’t tried out like India. Wikipedia should have the bases listed. The Swiss variant is no longer used but it worth having a look as the terrain is obviously very nice. They were based at Emmen I believe.
Edit: The Red arrows travel to Tanagra Greece LGTG once a year I think for training. I’m 1/3 of the way there in my Sim, first stop Lyon for a refuel.
Had better control today over the Hawk although I still managed to set off the CWP xmas tree as I was coming in to land.
Flew from Honington to Valley and although I was struggling to read the EFB in VR (acknowledged by JF), I managed to enable altitude hold so saved on the constant trimming.
Saw @NORTMAR flying around Valley but was not close enough to wing waggle hello.
How do you switch on the smoke and change color? Can see a smoke control switch on The left side - but when I move it up (nothing) can also see a white and red smoke light on right panel?
You guys are an amazing Dev… I will be buying anything you release. The fact that you took feedback (a bunch of things I personally wrote like drop tanks, and night lighting brightness) and adjusted it so fast is amazing. Major props to you for putting out an amazing airplane, and supporting it so well! Well done.
One minor thing I found was the VR cockpit zoom would occasionally zoom too far and go through the seat down to the aircraft floor, particularly when trying to zoom on the EFB. However I note the EFB position is being adjusted for VR in 1.1 so maybe this is already taken care of
VR click points and not all ILS approaches work, although tuned correctly are the only frustrating things in the best aircraft available today in my own opinion.
Are you referring to ILS indications on the HSI or approach hold on the autopilot? If it’s the former, can you give me some examples so I can try to reproduce it here?
This aircraft is amazing. But the sounds, when listened to through headphones are on a whole new scale. Easily my current favourite aircraft in the sim right now.
Is there a way to turn off damage? If I’m practicing landings and I hit the ground too hard and slew back up into the sky to try again, it damages my flaps, landing gear, air brake and other functions, meaning I can’t carry on practicing. I have to restart the flight. Would be nice to be able to try again without having to restart.
