Yes, but there a couple of crucial settings which are not possible to set from the in-game panel if i am not mistaken. From the top of my mind, the max parked aircraft limit and recently introduced range on ground cannot be changed from the slider. But they can still be changed at the start of the program if silent start is not enabled.
Can you guys take the FSLTL talk over to that extensive thread and not sidetrack discussion of this product and people trying to work through their issues?
Maybe my mess up is with the traffic control thingy. So I put KDFW. Showed all flights and I confirmed and hit save so I’m gonna see if that is what I have missed on
Well just sat at the gate egll in the 737, planes everywhere you look, taking off, landing flying around.
I did set ms to real-time traffic. Didnt notice any particular showdown but didnt really check.
They brought us a product which inject traffic at departure and arrival only. What a smart move! In each and every advertisement video they don’t show traffic airborne. Don’t get fooled guys! DON’T BUY!
“Once you introduce that into the hundreds of thousands of different combinations of setups and computers, you’ll start seeing the ‘complaints’.”- It’s been less than 3 hours since the developers post announcing it’s release and already the pitchforks of buyers remorse and I’m heading back to X product or X product doesn’t cause this issue are plenty.
I tried to give sound pieces of information as objectively as I could about why people shouldn’t rush into it, I didn’t state that directly but it was there, I’d give it a solid week after release before I’ll make my final judgement on which areas of improvement it does have an impact on. Until then I have plenty of popcorn.
A big thank you to everyone who has already purchased FS Traffic and we hope your flight sim skies are full of amazing-looking, performance-friendly Ai traffic!
We do appreciate that there are some users who may be having some issues using FS Traffic, and as this thread is moving at a fast pace, it’s going to be difficult to reply to everyone individually, so we’ll try and cover as much as we can in this post.
FS Traffic is a different traffic program compared to the other traffic programs that are already on the market and it is the first traffic program that runs completely internally to the simulator. This, therefore, requires a different workflow to set the program up. This workflow may appear a bit unfamiliar at first if you are used to other traffic programs, but our testers have found this to become second nature after a few flights. We have a Quick Start Guide video on Youtube that will walk you through the process you need to follow the first time you load FS Traffic: FS Traffic MSFS Just Flight - Quick Start Guide - YouTube
These FAQs are also available in the included manual.
We highly recommend that you read the manual and FAQs so that FS Traffic is set up and working as intended.
With regards to compatibility issues, we are currently aware of 1 compatibility issue with the FS Traffic in-game panel, and we are currently investigating this. Unfortunately due to the sheer number of add-ons available for MSFS, and amount of different combinations of add-ons you can have installed at any one time, it isn’t always possible to catch all compatibility issues pre-release.
We wouldn’t have released a product that we are not confident in the quality of. So if you are having any issues, please open a support ticket via Just Flight - Support. This will allow us to answer any questions you may have and fix any issues in the fastest and most efficient way.
Correct. FS Traffic takes its schedules from an entire week in June 2022. This means you can fly anywhere in the world and see traffic based on the time, and day of the week that is set in the simulator.
We will also be adding further schedules free-of-charge post-release.
