JustFlight Arrow. Honeycomb trim wheel not recognized

I cannot trim the Arrow using the trim wheel on the honeycomb bravo throttle quadrant. The controls are set up correctly (I think, works for the default Cessna 152). I can only trim it using the trim switches on the yoke (which the modelled aircraft shouldn’t have, correct?). Anybody else have this problem? Or is it working for anyone?

It works, but is incredibly slow. As in, grab the wheel and spin it like you’re on the Wheel of Fortune, and it’ll barely affect the trim. This issue happened with the patch that fixed the 10 degree heading bug. Hopefully they get it sorted out.

I believe you can alter the amount you trim per step in the config files. I don’t remember the attribute, but a search for trim in perhaps the flight model file would yield results.

Microsoft kind of broke the trim when they fixed the heading bug so it takes multiple revolutions of the trim wheel, instead of small adjustments. There are some threads in the hardware section of the forums here and Microsoft has acknowledged it is a bug. I am pretty sure it can be fixed with FUIP, but I don’t have that and is $30.

I can adjust this with SPAD as well, for my Logitech mutli-panel trim wheel, on a per plane basis.

Believe me, its worth the money for the extra control you get outside the default drivers.

Thanks guys, I’ll try out if my trim wheel responds after several full rotations later when I’ll have time to fly. But a quick question now: why does my trim wheel work fine in the default Cessna152. Shouldn’t that bug affect all planes equally?

What is FUID, what is SPAD?

The JustFlight Arrow although very nice is buggy. Apart from the trim I also have issues with mapping all the switches like lights etc. It works perfectly fine in default aircraft but not in the JF Arrow (only 3rd party aircraft I have). It has also major issues in VR with clickspots and mouse position. They blame it on the SDK, but I would assume the default aircraft use the same SDK and woke fine.
In just waiting patiently until it’s fixed.

I got the name of the program wrong, but it is an add on that allows you more customization with flight simulator. It is FSUIPC.

I use SPAD for configuring my Logitech panels, and my Streamdeck. It can also control your joystick/yoke, throttle, and pedals if you wish, but I don’t for those.

If you used just the Logitech drivers for MSFS, it will get them working. But you can’t do much more than that. With SPAD, I can configure the buttons to access whatever is exposed as an LVAR or SimConnect event. For example, a spare display on my radio panel I turned in to a radar altimeter. On another I had the barometic pressure display in hectopascals.
