I’ve only flown one departure out of DFW since I pulled the folder. DFW - MIA in the B77W from gate D23 and all was good! A couple of days ago I landed the A321 on 17C and taxied over to C10. A OK. While deboarding was happening, I took the drone up and surveyed all the problem areas that I encountered in the past. Again, no issues!
Just used this fix and it corrected issues on KDFW RW17R which were preventing me from departing there. PMDG B738 AAL 2309 (nighttime departure) would encounter something on the runway and crash. Have encountered nothing adverse yet as a result of the fix. Textures are now crisp with no gaps, voids, bumps. Thanks for the solution.
Hey Jeff, I just got the ImagineSim KDFW. I deleted the MS/Asobo version and had to remove that folder “fs-base-coverage-map-us2.tin” again. I had the blurry ground textures and uneven bridges and runways. Once I went in and removed that folder and loaded back in, all was good! The ImagineSim KDFW is okay and much better than default, but it’s amazing that I still had to remove that folder. Anyway, just wanted to give an update. That’s if anyone is still flying MSFS2020. I will be until all the great payware aircraft are fully supported in 2024 and there are no CTD nor crashes.

Good to know! Thank you CDRShark! I was on the fence about that scenery… heard mixed reviews. but appreciate the heads up, and yes, still weird you have to delete that tin folder.
Ya I’m not sure why my set up is like that. Before I installed ImagineSim KDFW, I re-installed World Update 2 & 10. Then removed the default KDFW. I didn’t look at the scenery as I wanted to fly from KIAH and land at KDFW, as if a “new” airport to me. On 18R Final I noticed the old weird blurry graphics on the runways and taxiways. I continued to taxiway B which went over the roads. I think taxiway A didn’t even have a bridge and floating lights. B was had one but uneven and slanted. I managed to power through it over to K. The terminal itself looked fine, only the ground textures and I had the HD textures turned on. So I removed that folder and loaded back in. Everything looked great! It was late last night/early morning so I did not have time to fly it. Will do this evening though as everything looks decent. For $33USD I’m not sure, but it’s the only one in town. I bet Flightbeam could do better and less costly. But hey, I’m happy with it so far.
It’s pretty good, the ground textures could have been better but overall I like it. Never had blurry textures though.
