I don’t know the regulations in other parts of the world like US or Canada but in EASA countries LAPL is a very good alternative to the good old and insanely expensive PPL-A. It sure has limitations for the MTOW (max 2000kg), the number of passengers (pilot +3), no IFR rating possible and not valid outside of EASA. But really, when do we ever exceed that for hobby flying? No need fo a PPL in EASA anymore.
Flight Training in a CTL or WT-9 is much cheaper ^^
