Brief description of the issue:
All keyboard/mouse inputs stopped working.
Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
I’m not sure what occurred to reproduce this. This was the first time it has happened to me. I took off from KSLC in the FBW A320 on my way to KMIA. Once I reached cruise, I stepped away for 5 minutes.
When I returned I wasn’t able to control my viewpoint using the mouse, although I was able to click buttons in the cockpit. I just wasn’t able to look around. I went to the camera menu while in the cockpit and selected ‘freelook’. Immediately the mouse cursor disappeared, but nothing still worked.
At this point I wasn’t able to go back to any of the in-cockpit menus. keyboard inputs no longer worked. When I hit ‘ESC’, the mouse cursor returned but would disappear again after returning to the cockpit. My only option at this point was to exit the flight.
The mouse worked fine in the main menus afterwards. Restarting the sim corrected the issue.
