Hi! My kids love playing FSX but get frustrated with MSFS as it’s less forgiving during crashes even with all help turned on. Is it possible to:
a) switch off all collisions with buildings so that you don’t get stuck between them when you crash?
b) set the plane so when it crashes it always rights itself back the right way up?
Current settings mean that even though the game doesn’t actually register the crash, you still get stuck and need to restart.

You can unstuck the plane using slew mode. You can can activate it with ‘y’. Check keybinds, as the keys for moving the plane might need to be bound first.

Look under Options → Assistance. I’m not in front of the sim at present but there are various settings to switch off collisions, engine stress and aircraft stress which should make your kids happy.
you can turn on developer mode on Options / General / Developers menu to make a non-collision flights without black screen on crashes.
