There’s an invisible wall or something at beginning of runway 30.
Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Load at game at KOAK. Taxi to very beginning of runway, and try to take off with full throttle.
OR
Land at Runway 30 at the beginning of runway.

Note: This issue does not happen when loading up flight starting with Runway 30 because it already places you past the point of invisible wall.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with SU8. This has been there since launch and reported multiple times. I first encountered it a couple of hours after installing the sim for the first time on launch day. I tried taking off on 30 a couple of weeks back and crashed there again.

There’s also an invisible wall / break in one of the taxiways at the NW corners at Charles deGaulle that’s also been there since launch and still not fixed.

I don’t even have the words for how utterly despondent I feel seeing bugs like this not being fixed. It gives me no hope.

While taxiing at KOAK you will hit all sorts of these objects, albeit smaller, all over the place.

Oh yeah. KOAK is all forms of messed up and riddled with bugs. You’d need a plane with monster truck tires and 4WD to safely navigate it. And that’s not counting the other broken stuff all over the place.

Perhaps someone should make this plane for MSFS. Perhaps the tires would be big enough to navigate KOAK

If you grew up in Oakland, as I did, you’d know that that plane is perfect for the place.

Could someone who has done a complex custom airport fix this in like 10 minutes? Just flatten out the runway, touch nothing else, and release it on flightsim.to?

If I knew how to use the SDK, I’d try it myself…

Unfortunately, that wouldn’t help us poor saps who fly on an Xbox.

I can’t believe Microsoft is, essentially, telling us to dump their bespoke hardware for a PC to run community fixes for stupid little bugs within their bespoke software that they seem unwilling to fix.

8, E I G H T, of the bugs on the release notes are community found bugs – eight.

This feels like an abusive relationship.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard to fix. Maybe if they told us why these type of fixes are hard, we wouldn’t be here frustrated.

Oh well, the biggest runway at a top airport in the US will black screen you.
