As you can see in the screenshot I’m pressing rudder trim right because the plane is very left-trimmed. However I’m holding and holding, but the rudder trim in the MFD doesn’t seem to be moving right at all so I’m heavily side slipping.
It originally got into this configuration while on autopilot and I’m trying to correct. Anyone know how to fix this?
I have it set to a keybind, works fine. I believe it’s “rudder trim left” and “rudder trim right”
The rudder trim switch is meant to be pressed repeatedly, rather than held.
Is that information stated in the POH somewhere? I’ve watched a ton of Ryan’s videos on YT, but I don’t think I’ve ever observed him setting rudder trim. I did actually find a video just now, where Ryan was pressing the trim switch, but without seeing how much it moved its not possible to say that he held the button down for one second to move it a single step, or he held it for that long to get it to move as far as he needed it to.

Crazy stuff, pls disregard my earlier remarks about the current Kodiak. I just had a look at it again and the electrical motor for the rudder trim switch is indeed fully working now with the 2024 version for me. Just like in the real Kodiak.
