I have a HDMI USB KVM switch because I have one dedicated MSFS PC and another one for general usage. If the MSFS is running and I switch to my other PC to work and I want to switch back to the MSFS the Simulator freezes. Why is that? Is there a way around this.

I have a build in KVM Switch in my Screen and had the same issue when I switched to my office laptop and back. But it was gone for a while. Don’t know why, maybe because i made a firmware update of my Monitor.
Anyway, my conclusion was, the Sim doesn’t like to loose keyboard and/or mouse during game so I try to avoid it.
