wait now 2020 is down? Good LORT.
You have data that backs up this claim, of course?
Nobody has any data beyond what has been shared publicly by Asobo (almost nothing).
But confirmation bias is a known thing.
You do. Youre on the forums.
I am, and Iām not seeing any evidence that most people playing 2024 are having CTDs. Some, sure. Most? Nah.
@Aviator5860 Yes your rig is more than capable )more than mine!)
Have you seen the information regarding the time zone settings in Windows? You need to have the time zone set to Automatic. Apparently, this has solved a lot of loading issues for folks who were just stuck and not be able to launch the sim. Apologies if you a;ready were aware of this, but if not definitely worth a try.
Actually, for me, this would go a long way. Sure, itās only stating the obvious, but it at least tells us theyāre willing to acknowledge the truth that it isnāt ready for release. At least then I can know theyāll at least eventually tell the truth, even if itās ugly, and I can respect that. It would probably help, even if its in a miniscule way.
I would like to see increased stability. Less crashing to desktop for those who are experiencing it, and fixing the obvious such as the flaps issue in career mode and putting the SAR missions for helis in a heavily wooded area that you canāt land near enough to complete the task. At least increase the ānearā factor so we can TRY to find a safe spot to land. In 2020, NeoFly 4 has some SAR missions that are great, and if thereās no possibility to land, you can call in a team to extract them, making landing near them just a bonus (not a deduction for not landing). Its hard to progress when the system its running on is against you. Iām willing to help be constructive and make suggestions if I know asobo is listening and cares. Not sure I need to ā so many of us have already given great suggestions on how it could work, so long as its possible on the backend.
Hello @GuillaumeKun ,
Ok, thanks for the information. I am going to try that and see if it works.
cheers
