Lack of Communication from Microsoft and Asobo

Hello @TadejDem7,

Please see my post above. This patch is not a major update but rather a small fix to resolve a regression introduced with the 1.2.8.0 release. Sim Update 1, which contains many bug fixes and improvements, is still in production. We will share more information about this major update as soon as we can.

Thanks,
MSFS Team

Hello @SkyLane7277,

No action is required on your end. The update that fixes the white avionics issue will be automatically installed the next time you launch the sim.

Thanks,

So from what you’re saying no bugs will actually be addressed until Sim Update 1?

Is a HOTFIX for fix a major issue, with holiday and QA Proccess and Cert Process for Xbox Version, is quick
 so

It sounds like they’re fixing the white screen bug on the Airbus(es) with a hotfix today.

As for SU1 I think it’s safe to say they will have additional bugfixes in there
I mean it’s reasonable to think so.

I did read it. That’s why I’m dissapointed. All that was fixed was the thing your last fix broke because of course you didn’t test it before releasing.

600+ bugs and missing features and you expect us to be happy about this hotfix. The sim is really broken. Maybe stop downplaying and actually admit it.

More and more people are turning against you because at this point it looks like you’re making fun of us. All these generic answers that actually don’t give us any information aren’t helping anymore.

Maybe instead of 1 big update just release small fixes every week. The sim is to broken for you to expect us to just sit and wait until you actually decide to fix it. You over promised and under delivered.

You’re going to keep playing us until you lose the majority of players. By then it will be to late to save anything.

The sim at this point is not worth what you’re charging. Next time base the price on what you deliver and not what you promise.

I don’t believe MS is intentionally “playing” anyone. Let’s all just have a little patience and see what todays Dev Blog says.

Not going to happen.
People will use it no matter what and it will get better for sure.

That’s exactly what MS is doing since day one on that Bill founded the company and if you know the history of the MS then you wouldn’t be any suppressed that they did it again now it’s just lack of Pam Edstrom to tell us how wrong are we thinking that they once again marketed Alpha as RTM and pushed it into the market just to keep the promised release date

4.8 GB fix for an Xbox issue only
 on PC? That’s weird.

Hello @BigHerbiezoid,

The fix today applies to both Xbox and PC (if using Low/Med graphics settings).

I’d hoped it would also sort the no lighting in cockpit bug that Inibuilds say they provided a fix for to MS/Asobo several weeks ago, but this still seems to be somewhere being sat on. Difficult to fly at night with no cockpit lighting in the a320.

I mean, you asked the question on how it could happen. If it was obvious, I’m not sure why one would ask it.

I was being sarcastic to you. Just nevermind.

I believe it will get better. But they’re taking to much time to fix what should have been fixed before launch. In 10 days it’s going to be 2 month since release and the game still has sooooo many bugs and missing features.

The casual players will move on to other games that aren’t so broken. There are also a lot of players that use it through game pass. Doubt they will see it as worth buying with so much still wrong.

It never should have been released in such a catastrophic state.

Why bother? FlyByWire A32nx is wqy better, works and don’t has so much unfixed since MSFS 2020 bugs and still as ini’s one doesn’t support any new features on the 24

Yes, that is true.
