Description of the issue: In some career missions, either freelance or employee there is no real-life weather, actually there is no weather at all, baro fixed at 29.92/1013 no wind nor clouds and there is no option to enable or get custom weather.

It started to happen in 1.7.16.0 and it continues with 1.7.17.0
Go to mission selection on career mode, those missions (allmost all) had status UNKN on weather
@FlightLevel3000 , reading again the other report I mentioned above, as explained by OP, missions with real weather are symbolized by a red dot. I assume missions without a red dot (marked UNKN) are using a weather custom preset. If you move the history time/weather slide bar on the top right you’ll see missions with a red dot to be updated.
So it seems what you are reporting is not a bug but the actual weather design for missions.
It would be nice to have red dots on other company missions, especially airliners. Small work for a massive QOL improvements
This might be a bug? for VIP missions without the red dot, you can still use the slider and change time of day, I’ve also exited the map and re entered and missions without red dots previously, now have red dots
It will be great if we have the option to change the weather or time for those UNKN weather missions (or any mission really), but as far as I can see there is no option, so Im obligated to fly without any weather. It’s true that there are a very few missions that have weather reported as “Refer to briefing” that work ok.
The in-game toolbar doesn’t have any option to modify neither the weather nor time as you can see
If you move the time slider, some of the UNKN weather missions get the red dot but not all of them, I don’t know what’s the logic of being able to get the red dot or not. Maybe the ones that say “Refer to briefing” cannot get the red dot ?.
Yes, actually what moving the slider does it that those missions with weather as “Refer to briefing” appears with the red dot, but all the other missions still have the UNKN weather and no chance to change it
This issue appears to have started a few days ago during the career mode maintenance. I’m not sure if the maintenance staff made any changes to the real-time weather and time settings. Missions that originally supported real-time weather have now become several normal red dot missions, several missions that require adjusting the timeline to display red dots, and the rest are all UNKN or custom weather missions that don’t respond to any timeline adjustments.
