This is a well known issue, and is a “leftover” from earlier FS’s that was used in MSFS.
See item 13.
I think that the Wishlist topic refers to ground services vehicles like fuel trucks hogging up the taxiways. This one looks like road traffic on the runway because Bing thinks there’s a road there.
I think it may be both now. I just flew two routes into different US Midwest airports. The first had relatively heavy road-like traffic crossing the runway right at the touchdown point (I flattened one of them ) and the other airport had vans parked in the middle of the taxiway.
Which airport had traffic crossing the touchdown point?
KLNK, Lincoln Nebraska. I just spawned on 18 to take off south, which was were I was landing earlier, for this photo. There are only seven vehicles there now.
I went to the airport and unfortunately, that looks like airport ground services. Your best bet is this Wishlist topic:
I have seen this at KSBA on the small runways 15L/R (which are typically used for small non commercial traffic in real life).
Is it street traffic (in other words, is there an invisible road there) or is it airport traffic?
There are certain airports like KIAH and KBNA where taxiways sit over regular roads and it causes street traffic to constantly be crisscrossing all over the airport.
