Laptop...is VR usable?

Considering a new machine. Will a high end laptop run MSFS with VR? Perhaps an Oculus Quest 2.
High-end laptop might be something with:
Ryzen 9
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
32 GB RAM
I see Alienware has some laptops with these similar specs.

Has anyone had success with a laptop and VR/Oculus Quest 2?

I fly on a laptop myself (predator PT515-52) and can run everything on ultra. I dont use VR (yet). But the reason i didnt go for an alienware, is the use of 2 power supplies. since i use this laptop for “work” (read MSFS) a lot i use power connector all the time. but for other use the real work (what my wife thinks iam doing all the time) and travel ralated stuff, i dont want to drag a half nuclear powerplant with me. so just take that also into consideration.
I chose for this this laptop power of screen so it "only"has a full HD witch is fine for me watching movies and play MSFS with great quality. If I want 4K resolution, I will connect it to a tv or external screen.

I have the same question as in the original post … currently considering “gaming” laptops with:

Ryzen 7 5800H or Intel i7 (11thGen)
Nvidia RTX 3070
32GB RAM
HP Reverb 2 VR

My main concerns are that “mobile” or “low power” versions of GPUs installed in gaming laptops are considered to have lower performance than desktop equivalents - thereby potentially impacting VR performance. I would love to have 40-60FPS framerates but I think realistically VR framerates are probably 30FPS (or less) on gaming laptops of above spec? If someone has similar configuration to above, please share their experience.

Have any one figured out what is the best budget laptop to run FSMS 2020 over oculus quest 2 ?

I have a gigabyte aurus 15p with 11800h processor, 3060, and 16gb ram and it runs flight sim with quest 2 VR at 30-38fps in easy areas, all settings on low except clouds high and water medium. Terrain & object LOD 100. 1700ish by 1700ish resolution (biggest factor) when i fly into 3rd party airports the performance does go down to maybe 20’s fps im trying to sort that out but it might just be the limits of my laptop. In 2d i can run high/ultra in NYC at 40fps tho. VR is insanely demanding it doesn’t even make sense
