Sadly I have the same issue! in the morning I was flying in the sim but in the same evening, I was not able to lunch the sim anymore! I didn’t install or remove anything on my PC(Maybe an automatic windows update?!)

So far I have tried the following:
1-Removing all the community addons
2-Removing the rolling catch
3-Removing the app data (Letting it regenerate again)
4-Checking windows for corrupted files (following forum instructions)
5-Removing all USB and wireless connection
6-Lunching the Sim offline

None of the above worked for me.

Best Regards,

HI sorry to hear you got troubles also. I received an email from MS Tech Support to try this, repair or reset MSF on windows 10 or 11. Open the Apps and Features. Find MSF and then left click to open it and left click on advanced features, try repair (didn’t work for me ) then try reset. I’ll try that later. Best of luck.

Just got home and it looks like the RESET worked. Now it has a bunch of updating to do but so far it’s not crashing…

Thank you for the update. I have found the bug! it was my system time not being synced.

Still CTD for me. Nothing in the community folder, load up the default C172 G1000, let the plane sit at the ramp and then CTD after about 5 minutes of just letting the plane sit.

-UPDATE-
This time I just went with the loaded community folder and chose another plane (PA-28) and another airport with the same results; CTD after the plane sits at the ramp for about 5 minutes.

I’ll try the repair/reset (once again)…

It took 2 days to re-download the last update so I’ll check my time. Good luck with yours.

I would also create a restore point in windows advanced setting on the C drive after MSFS is repaired and working correctly just in case. Call it MSFS Repaired.
