Lateral Oscillation

Here is an example of the lateral oscillation problem.

Then there is the roll oscillation problem which shows up in the NEo!

I’ve seen that rolling from left to right in the C208 as well. But I’ve not noticed that continuous, rapid wiggling before.

I would however point out that you were fiddling with wind settings for a layer at close to ground level, not your aircrafts altitude? It was difficult to see clearly, but you had two wind layers, one at ground, and the other slightly above that, and just below a cloud layer.

Looks to me like the effect perturbations of the air flow over the tail surfaces due to the prop is a little exaggerated. They could probably tone that down a little to make the motion of the plane more realistic. But at the same time, sometimes they exaggerate effects so that when you’re in the cockpit it doesn’t feel like you’re on rails… In PC flight simulation, there’s this balance you have to strike to give a sense of motion that you can lose sense of because you can’t feel the g’s etc…
