Latest update and flights with ai pilot

I’ve been trying to fly from lege (gerona, spain) to LEBB (bilbao, spain) for days. There is always the same problem, when the AI is connected, the flight begins to lose altitude until it hits mountains or the ground.

what are you flying?

I flying to LEGE before LEBB

I am currently flying from LEGE to LEBB at 10,500 feet in a Beechcraft Bonanza. I am about 40 minutes into the flight. Because I’m in the Bonanza I’m using the Garmin G1000NXi as mu autopilot. I’ve been in autopilot control shortly after takeoff from LEGE.
Mountians are beautiful!
Where have you been crashing?

Took about 1.5 hrs. Need to watch mixture. Works like a top.

I was flying with the) ai active and when I reached 4500 feet the plane (a320) began to descend. I also tried manually reaching 6000 and 10000 and the same thing happens.

the route of a 320 guides me through the pyrenees and at 4000 feet it collides with a mountain

I believe the AI Copilot assistance uses the flight plan to fly it. So if your flight plan is not at the correct altitude, then the AI will just follow it regardless.

Try to create a proper full flight plan with the correct altitude and fly with that flight plan with the AI active. Hopefully it should fly the aircraft properly that way.

How did you create your flight plan? Often flight plans not created using the MSFS World Map are missing critical altitude information.

I created a flight plan for the A320 NEO using the MSFS World Map specifying a cruising altitude of 5,000 ft. ATC gave me multiple climb instructions to the minimum required altitudes at waypoints. The flight successfully crossed the mountains and completed the flight with no problem.

I flew the same flight plan except using a cruising altitude of 27,000 ft. Again, a successful flight with no issues.
