Latest update appears to be in a loop (now looping for 2nd time)

I had a similar issue, except my loop started with the first file it attempted to download. Tried deleting the files (leaving the folders intact), but that didn’t work.

To get mine to download, I had to browse to my FlightSimulator.exe file and run FlightSimulator as Administrator.

My install is through Steam, so my FlightSimulator.exe file is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator

So, once you find FlightSimulator.exe…

  1. Right click FlightSimulator.exe
  2. Click “Properties”
  3. Click the “Compatibility” tab
  4. Put a check in the “Run this program as administrator” box
  5. Click OK
  6. Try the download again
