Hi all, my son and I own a copy of MSFS and use the same internet connection. While his copy has updated the new USA patch, my copy doesn’t even detect it. Also when the game loads the “Marketplace” tab is now greyed out. Has anyone experienced this and have a quick fix/workaround or should I contact support?

Have the same issue with the marketplace tab greyed out. Why is software in 2020 just as unreliable as 20 years ago?

If I remember right, MSFS isn’t a multi-user product. If you’re each logging into one computer under different accounts, only one will have full functionality.
Thanks for the reply tclayton2K, just to clarify, it is two separate PC’s with two separate windows 10 licences and two separate MSFS game purchases sharing the same internet service.
In that case, it’s probably an account issue. There are 40+ threads on this already, but the short story is:
Pull up the XBox game bar (Winkey+G for a shortcut) and click the Settings gear icon in the top menu bar, click Accounts and log out.
Launch the sim and you’ll get a login screen. Click to log in and you should be fine.
