I was hoping that both Garmin’s would be fixed, especially the outer knob on the g1000, which is near impossible to use because you can’t grab the counter clockwise side. This renders the G1000 unusable in a lot of instances. Neither is complete in their functionality. It’s all there in the Garmin manuals.
It seems as though the flight model is better, especially the elevator trim. I also think that light winds have too much effect on cross wind landings, especially after touchdown.
