ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Leeds Castle is missing textures

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?

ICAO, coordinates, or specific location:

51° 14’ 55.00" N 0° 37’ 47.94" E

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

First noticed in SU2 1.4.10.0, confirmed still a bug in 1.4.11.0

Always, confirmed with several others when I was streaming that they were seeing the pink no textures on their systems as well and they were using SU2. Others that were using current live had working textures

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Move to 51° 14’ 55.00" N 0° 37’ 47.94" E
  2. Look at castle (see pictures below)

FYI, This does appear to be a regression, based on this post from December 2024:

  • No, however the OP is on Steam and I am on MS Store, 1.4.12.0. So maybe there is a Steam-MS Store discrepancy. Another possibility is that this was fixed in 1.4.12.0 and the OP logged this in 1.4.11.0.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

  • I recently did a fresh reinstall of MSFS 2024 in 1.4.12.0, and that could be another reason. (Although if the POI is in the cloud, I don’t think a fresh install would help.)
  • This has nothing to do with this bug, but Leeds Castle is not the first MSFS 2024 first-party POI I’ve seen that has way too many lights on it.
