I left the Beta program and now MSFS wont run. When I start the game, it asks which additional content I want to install and shows the Standard, Deluxe and Premium…huh? It’s like the game is trying to reinstall itself.
An uodate pops up (2gb). It gets to 100% and shows “Error” every time.
Any help would be appreciated.
Unfortunately, a reinstall is one of the issues that sometimes can be experienced when you leave the Beta program.
Is there any message displayed besides the word “error”?

I always make a copy of the Official folder before entering the beta. If I have to back out, all I have to do is replace the folder with the release files after the main folder (XBoxGames) is replace after leaving. When exiting the beta, the official folder is not returned to the state before the beta. That is where all the issues steam from when backing out from a beta.
I just left the beta as well…when I ran MSFS it wanted to install a 2GB update. After running the update, it started MSFS and wanted to reinstall the program too. But, the path was to the default installation path, not my path. I simply clicked inside the path name and browsed to my path which for me, is “C:\MSFS”.
Once I did that, I clicked update and it reinstalled just the asobo liveries (not sure why as I had them already). It did not take long.
So, I’m not sure if you’re running into the same thing, but if you are, maybe my experience will help you.

I couldnt even install the 2 GB update. It just kept erroring out.
I actually ended up doing a reinstall. Figured I might as well since its been quite a while!

what Beta is this referring to? SU 14 Beta?
I think he means he never signed out of the beta when SU13 was released. With SU 14 beta being released tomorrow, he probably did not want to automatically participate…so he left the preview (which would automatically download SU 14 beta).
At least, this is what I did…
