I’ve never flown Australia in any previous flight sim, so thought it was about time. I had some places I wanted to visit and then just set waypoints to airports to try and maintain legs no longer than 300nm. I still use Plan-G using my old FSX database for planning and it showed a number of POIs so I plugged them in as well.
So leg1 was a departure from Sydney to the Gold Coast airport. Generally North/North East. The altitude stated 5000ft would be enough, but got a bit nervous half way and climbed to 6000ft. Quite a bit of cloud around en-route.
