Please bring back cockpit legacy mode on Xbox
Sim should be the same for Xbox users as well
It does not feel realistic with that blue light when pointing at switches and knobs in the cockpit
I am sure many Xbox users would like to switch to legacy mode

On Xbox you still can’t turn off the annoying blue light when pointing out something in the cockpit with the mouse or with the cursor, it would be nice to add a setting where you can turn it off.

You mean you can’t change cockpit interaction from lock to legacy on Xbox?

Apparently not, I tried to search through the settings and there is nothing like it
There is a mod for this for the PC users but not as far as I know for Xbox users

Please give us the option to disable the highlighted buttons. Those blue lights covering the buttons have always bothered me deeply. And I believe it bothers many others. It could be like on PC, if you don’t like it, you can just disable in the settings. That simple.

On fs2020 it has been asked several times over the years to bring a legacy instrument interaction system to Xbox. To eliminate the annoying blue light when you interact with the switches on the plane. Well a legacy mode has been added on Xbox only it doesn’t work. As soon as I go to cockpit interaction system and change from “lock” to "legacy "the blue light stays anyway and going to check again it automatically goes back to “lock”. I don’t understand why after all these years they are still not able to get rid of this light. Next to it it says that legacy mode is exclusively for users with a mouse, I have a mouse plugged in and it does not work for me. It must be that those who want to use it can keep it and those who don’t can take it off. For me it is so annoying this, I can’t read some writings in the cockpit because of this blue light. For those who are just starting out it may also help I guess but not for those who have already been on msfs for years. I hope it will be active very soon and not make months and years pass like on fs2020.

This problem is worse than an annoyance. It often results in a crash. My right stick is collective/throttle. If, when I freelook, my view is centered on a switch, the collective is locked out. Getting rid of the white dot should solve this (as it does in 2020) but it does not in 2024.

Any update on this issue on Xbox? Is it fixed?
Not yet. Maybe a small update today.
