Hi, I bought the first version of the Aerosoft LEIB scenery in DLC, but now, after the V2 update is more then 4 weeks out, nothing happens in the DLC to update the version. When can we expected the new version.

Asobo does not put an estimate on when items will be posted for release.
They do have a large amount of material that they have to approve before it is released in the marketplace, and that does result in slowing things down.
Of course that also depends on when Aerosoft submitted it to the Marketplace folks as well.
Please bear in mind that moderators here have no inside knowledge of these things, and Asobo does not reply directly to posts in these forums.
What does it mean now. I have to wait 4 weeks more? Next time I buy these things on a nother place, sorry
This is the main debate among people that either love or hate the Marketplace. On one hand, the Marketplace provides a single outlet where you can get nearly anything you want. On the other hand, updates can be severely delayed.
On Xbox, there’s definitely no other choice. Marketplace or get bent.
On PC, it’s a tough one.
The marketplace promises easy, 1-stop shopping for everything. Get it all in 1 place. No need to have multiple accounts from multiple different vendors, etc. And all the addons get managed via the content manager. It makes it stupid easy.
But…

Both initial releases and product updates can be stupid slow. Things can be out on other vendors sometimes days to weeks in advance. Although in fairness, that’s reduced significantly. It used to be 8-12 weeks. Now it’s down to a couple of weeks at most. Often less than that. So I’ll give the marketplace credit. It’s improving.

This is what guarantees I’ll never buy another airport add-on via the marketplace - the encrypted filesystem. This prevents external programs from being able to read airport data. So as an example, when I run makerwys so I can extract the sim data to import into Pilot2ATC, it can’t open the encrypted 3rd party airports. So I don’t get any data on my purchased airports. I know this affects other external tools and utilities as well. If marketplace items actively block external tools from working with them, that completely kills the point of shopping in the marketplace for me.
One other thing that warbird enthusiasts hate about the Marketplace is that developers are prohibited from portraying any type of weapon on anything released there.
Very true. Personally, I don’t care. This isn’t a combat sim. If I wanted weapons, I’d be playing DCS. But for some, I guess it’s an issue.
The guys over at Sim-Outhouse are very particular about their vintage planes and how they’re portrayed. Some other sites have labeled us “rivet counters,” but that’s OK. These guys (and a gal or three) like to be able to fly these birds depicted as their real-world counterparts look. This means that a P-38L should have cannons sticking through the nose cone, and a Spitfire needs wing guns. Even if they’re not functional, they should at least be there visually.
I get it. It’s not an issue for me, but I realize that some people want the utmost in visual realism. And the marketplace is NOT where you want to shop if that’s what you want in warplanes.
