FYI, the moderators are a bit strict on posting in the Bugs & Issues section, as per the site rules, so you should search all the other sections of the forum that may pertain to your issue before you post here.
This section of the forum is for proven bugs that you can’t find a solution to elsewhere on the forum, and aren’t already in this section.
So, having said that, give the above a try, if this helps, please mark your thread as solved.
If it doesn’t, post back and let us know!
yes… I would only mention that we not get a exact error-description
For all that download issues , or stuck in loops, etc. exists in meanwhile FAQs or Forums-Posts. More we can’t say because we can see network traffic and a issue like " i can’t download" can have so many meanings.
If you have access to your router you should try to port forward it. This was only thing that helped me with slow download speeds. I got instant +180 Mbits/s speeds after that. Port 443 worked for me.
Well to be honest I’m not so familiar with these things so can’t say is this safe or not but it works I forwarded it to my ipv4 address. NetLimiter4 showed that most traffic comes from this port when flight simulator is downloading so I just gave a try and it worked…
Unless you actually have a server running on that port, and I’ve never watched MSFS to see what it listens on so that might be right, the port forwarding’s isn’t going to be doing anything.
In the same way you don’t need to port forward anything and still use a web browser.
If you forwarded port 443 to your computers IP address, this may be doing nothing at all, and you have actually made yourself potentially vulnerable by doing so.
Your post is sufficiently vague as to cause concern.
These are private IPs, so nothing to worry about:

Plenty of outgoing HTTPS connections, but no listeners on 443:
Hi @CapNoFun,
This actually not good advice. The purpose of a router/firewall is to protect the attached devices. If you manually port forward (to where?) - you’ve just opened yourself/devices up to attacks.
Let the router/firewall handle it. That is what it does.
Yes you are absolutely right. So guys use it as your own risk I would really like to know why download speed jumped like that in that exact moment when I forwarded it. Previously download speed was around 32 Mbits/s in 30 second cycles. I mean that download stopped for few seconds and then continued 32 Mbits.
