Depends where you live and how long ago it was last updated. Some places it can take 10 years.
Where I live Bing’s aerial imagery is more recent than Google, looking at a house being build on Bing that’s still an empty lot on Google. However Google’s images are at least double the resolution of Bing, much sharper and cleaner. (I can see people floating down the river on little rafts)
Google street view has the date on it, June 2014 last updated. Bing doesn’t have street view in my area.
We just got a new roof (switched to aluminum roof, should be very noticeable on the aerial images) and lost a standalone tree to a beaver. Also visible on both. I wonder how long it takes until it’s visible on either and who gets it first!
I wonder if FS2020 is directly tied into Bing’s latest data or whether it runs off a copy that has gone through Blackshark AI first. I guess the latter. So perhaps even after Bing shows new data on Bing maps, it might still be old in the sim until a world update comes around.
